Welcome to my website!

I am a freelance designer and book illustrator, based in London. My main interest is in children's books but I have also worked on commissions for non-fiction authors, magazines and commercial publishers.

I have a BA in fine art from the Serov Institute in St Petersburg, Russia, and an MA in children’s book illustration from Brighton University.

My published works in the UK have included illustrations for four travel books by Will Randall (Time Warner); a series of watercolours for a "Jackanory"-style story broadcast on CiTV; and a number of educational books produced by A&C Black Publishers. I was highly commended in the Macmillan Prize for Children's Picture Book Illustration in 2002 and 2003.

I currently work on a freelance basis for A&C Black Publishers.
