My drawings for "How the Moles Saw the Light" by Miroslav Holub were Highly Commended at the Macmillan Prize for Children's Book Illustration 2002

This is a personal project which hasn't yet been published. However, it was Highly Commended at the Macmillan Prize for Children's Book Illustration 2003.

This was my MA project at Brighton University. The story is based on "The Dragon", a fairytale by the Soviet playwright Evgeny Shvarts. The original dummy was acquired by the Word & Image department at the Victoria & Albert Museum in 2004.
